Health and well-being play a key role in the Blissful Living concept. We are frequently in contact with experienced health coaches. These health coaches are willing to share their knowledge with us, which we will be sharing with you in this blog. These tips can be used to help weaponize your body and mind during these challenging times.

Given our current COVID situation, we would like to share some helpful tips to stay healthy and energized!

Steam with eucalyptus essential oil

Steaming can be done whether you are showing symptoms (COVID-19 or a common flu) or not. If you do show symptoms, steaming is definitely something that can help. Preferably steam with your mouth and eyes open. This will ensure that the steam enters deeper into your body. If you have COVID-19, try steaming 3 times a day. If you do not have COVID-19 or do not show symptoms, it is best to steam after being in a public place or after a walk outside. Eucalyptus essential oils are available in your local health and well-being store.

Drink alkaline water and include iron in your diet

Alkaline water is water with a bit of lime/lemon or apple vinegar. Whenever possible, choose organically-grown fruits. By drinking this alkaline water your body gets detoxed and your immune system is strengthened.
Iron helps to increase haemoglobin in your blood. This helps to increase your blood’s capacity to transport oxygen, which in turn helps you feel more energized.

Benefits of drinking alkaline water;

  • Your intestinal flora will be strengthened
  • Your heart and blood vessels will be supported to transport oxygen more efficiently
  • It will also help decrease your cholesterol level

Your food and supplement intake

During this COVID period, eating broccoli, spinach, tomatoes and other yellow, orange and red fruits will benefit your system, especially during the winter months.
Also remember to stay physically active. If the gym is not open, you can do some exercises at home or if you feel comfortable with going outside, do a workout outside. Fresh air is always a good way to go.

You decide what works best for you and your body, and if you think these tips are helpful, help us share this message!
